How it works

You pick a request in the Requests tab, hit "I want this one" and talk to us in the chat if you have questions. You deliver through this area, in a .zip. We review in 7 to 14 days, ask for changes if needed, approve and pay to the PIX key in your profile.

Approved art becomes MushRog's. In return, besides the payment: your name on the artists page and in the game credits, your signature on the card of every character you made, a hero created by you (it goes to your account and to the site as "coming soon"; making it playable for everyone is our call, through the banner), tomes to level that hero to 100, and any cosmetic you draw goes to your account.

Rules for everything

Rule	How
Format	PNG with transparent background, 1 image pixel = 1 game pixel
Line	Clean pixel art: no anti-aliasing, no blur, dark outline
Palette	Free, but matching the game's base (earthy tones, low saturation; strong color only for the element)
File names	Exactly as the chapter says; that is how the importer recognizes them
Delivery	.zip with the chapter's folders; revisions go as a new delivery
Forbidden	Rips from other games, third-party art without a license, AI-generated art

Full character

A hero needs three things: the portrait, the sprite strips that walk around the map and the icons of the four skills. Use the hero page on the site (lore, element, weapon) as the brief.

1. Map sprites

The game's male base (Jhonatan), 4× zoom: idle, walk and slash from the front, side and back. The frame is 32×32; the character is two heads tall.

Item	Value
Frame	32×32 px, feet on the bottom row (y 31), body centered at x 16
Directions	front (down), side facing RIGHT (sideways) and back (up); the game mirrors the left
Idle	1 frame per direction: 32×32
Walk (move)	4 frames per direction, side by side: 128×32 strip, 10 fps loop; legs alternate 1-2-3-4
Slash	4 frames per direction: 128×32 strip, 13 fps; wind-up and swing with the weapon
Weapon	Drawn in hand in every frame (the weapon is part of the hero)
Shadow	Do not draw it; the game adds it
Files	Players/<Name>/Player_<name>_<idle\|move\|slash>_<down\|sideways\|up>.png (9 files)

32 px grid over the side walk strip: each cell is a frame, feet always on the same row.

2. Portrait

Vera's current portrait (AI-generated, to be replaced): 128×128, three-quarter bust, soft dark backdrop, no frame.

Item	Value
Size	128×128 px, PNG (may have a background: the card crops a square)
Framing	Chest up, three-quarter view, looking slightly away
Weapon	Shows if it fits (staff, bow, mace)
File	Portraits/<name>.png

3. Skill icons

Item	Value
Size	64×64 px, with the frame (the same as the current ones, in the reference .zip)
Content	One object or gesture per icon: basic, secondary, ultimate and fury (the fury uses the second element)
File	Skills/<skill_id>.png (ids are in the request)

4. Skill animations

Vera's four skills animated (provisional, AI-generated): a strip of 6 frames of 48×48, played on the target at 12 fps.

Item	Value
Frame	48×48 px, effect centered; the game draws the frame center over the target (slightly above the feet)
Frames	6 per skill, side by side in a 288×48 strip: born, grows, bursts and fades
Speed	12 fps (half a second); no loops, the animation plays once per hit
Content	Only the effect: no character, no ground, transparent background; the strong color is the skill's element (the fury uses the second element)
Files	Skills/<skill_id>_fx.png (4 files; ids are in the request)

Wings

Item	Value
Frame	40×40 px; the frame center lands on the character's body center (2 px up)
Frames	4 per direction, looping at 8 fps: open, closing, closed, opening
Directions	front (behind the body), side facing right (behind, 4 px back) and back (in front of the body, showing the back of the wings)
Files	Wings/<Name>/<Name>_flap_<down\|sideways\|up>.png (3 strips of 160×40)
Icon	Icons/<name>.png, 64×64, for the shop and the panel

Mounts

New format: the game does not draw mounts yet. Talk to us in the chat before starting; the format below is what we will implement.

Item	Value
Frame	48×48 px; the rider sits with feet at y 30 of the mount frame (draw the saddle at that height)
Animations	idle (1), walk (4, 10 fps loop)
Directions	front, side facing right, back
Layers	The mount sits behind the rider; if a neck or head passes in front of the legs, deliver an extra "_front" strip with only that part
Files	Mounts/<Name>/Mount_<name>_<idle\|move>_<down\|sideways\|up>.png (+ optional _front)
Icon	Icons/<name>.png, 64×64

Armor

On the map armor is not drawn today (only the weapon), but the piece is still drawn worn for the panel, the card and the shop. An armor is a set of 3 layers that follow the character frame by frame.

Layer	Frame	What it covers
Helmet	32×32, same head position in every base frame	Head; follows the walk bob
Body	32×16 (top half of the character: neck to waist)	Torso and arms
Legs	32×16 (bottom half)	Legs and boots; alternate with the walk
Animations	idle 1, walk 4, slash 4, in the 3 directions (like the character)
Files	Armors/<Name>/<Name>_<helmet\|body\|legs>_<idle\|move\|slash>_<down\|sideways\|up>.png
Icon	Icons/<name>_<helmet\|body\|legs>.png, 64×64

Weapons

Each hero's fixed weapon is already drawn in their hand (Character chapter). This chapter is for cosmetic weapons, which replace the look of the weapon for any hero of that type (sword, axe, spear, dagger, bow, staff, wand, mace, shield).

Soldier's Sword effect (Jhonatan), 4× zoom: the slash trail, centered on the character, 4 frames.

Item	Value
Weapon in hand	32×32 per frame, aligned to the base hand: idle 1, walk 4, slash 4, in the 3 directions
Slash effect	32×32, 4 frames, centered on the character; in the upward slash it goes behind them
Files	Weapons/<Name>/<Name>_<idle\|move\|slash>_<dir>.png and Weapons/<Name>/<Name>_fx_<dir>.png
Icon	Icons/<name>.png, 64×64

Familiars

New format: the game does not draw familiars yet. A small creature floating beside the character, with no effect on combat. Talk to us first.

Item	Value
Frame	24×24 px
Animations	float (4 frames looping at 8 fps); optional: reaction (4 frames) when the hero uses the fury
Directions	front and side facing right (the game mirrors); back optional
Files	Familiars/<Name>/<Name>_<idle\|react>_<down\|sideways\|up>.png
Icon	Icons/<name>.png, 64×64

Piece	Size	Note
Arena floor	592×272 px, one per theme (fire, ice, stone, wind, storm, Furihog)	The game tiles it darkened around; may have a border, no objects in the middle

2. Questions	The area's chat (we get it by e-mail and answer there)
3. Preview	Send a delivery marked as preview in the note before finishing everything: early fixes cost less
4. Final delivery	.zip with the chapter's folders, up to 20 MB, through the Requests tab
5. Review	7 to 14 days; we ask for changes in the chat or approve
6. Payment	PIX to the key in your profile, after approval
7. Credit	Name on the artists page, in the game credits and the signature on the character card

Signature

Upload the signature in the Profile tab. It can be your drawn name, a symbol or both; white or light works best on the card's dark background.
